Seen On Shelves: FREEE Foods at Tesco
There’s a lot of conversation about Digital Product Passports at the moment.
Scroll through LinkedIn and you’ll find countless AI-generated concepts of what they might look like, how they might work and what brands should be doing next.
Meanwhile, on the shelves at Tesco, something much more real is already happening.
As part of our latest #SeenOnShelves visit, we spotted FREEE Foods using Buyerdock’s iQRcode™ on-pack.

A single scan gives shoppers access to product information, allergen guidance, nutritional information, recycling information and more, all through one digital experience linked directly to the product.
This isn’t a concept nor a mock-up but a live implementation that’s already helping consumers access information from products they can buy today.
As we continue our #SeenOnShelves campaign, that’s what we’ll keep highlighting: connected products that are out in the market, being scanned by real people, every day.
If you’d like to see how FREEE Foods implemented Buyerdock’s iQRcode™, read our FREEE Foods case study. It takes you behind the project, from implementation through to the digital experience available to consumers today.
